Katrina LaPenne, a Brooklyn-based jewelry designer, creates one of a kind pieces of jewelry built completely from scratch. Her designs are inspired by nature's magnificence, ancient artifacts, and exotic decorative objects.

My favorite Katrina LaPenne design has to be the braided rings (pictured at left), available in gold and silver.

The braided rings come in three sizes - small ($33 in silver; $121 in gold), medium ($66 in silver; $165 in gold), and large ($99 in silver; $242 in gold). They are awesome to stack in mixed sizes.
