Hi there Sophisticates, I'm Crissie from Chicasaurus-Rex and I am very excited to introduce a brand new column here on YS - "Star Styling". I'll be taking all the chicest celebs and breaking down their looks into easy, affordable pieces you can make your own.
First up, Anne Hathaway in a casual yet sophisticated white-on-white suit at Stella McCartney's Resort 2013 presentation. This look works for a few reasons: #1 - the semi-formal garden party setting calls for a put together but laid back look; #2 - her blazer and cropped slacks are a perfect match, broken up by the brighter white of the tee-shirt and understated neutral accessories; and #3 - the cut of the blazer and playful crop of the slacks give the look a very girly touch which perfectly complements her newly chopped locks.
